Joshua, Jamie and Zane, the three founding directors, were IT professionals who decided to leave their jobs, embrace their passion for wine and build vintrace by learning the needs of the industry from hands on experience, friends and clients.
Joshua has been helping wine businesses to grow since 2006 when he co-founded vintrace.
Joshua grew up in country NSW, working on large agricultural properties before moving to Melbourne and completing a Bachelor of Computer Science while working helpdesk support.
He rose through the ranks of a publicly listed software company to become a Senior Software Engineer before leaving to start vintrace.
With a passion for responsive customer service, Joshua takes pride in managing the day to day operations of vintrace globally.
Co-founder Jamie is from one of Australia's premium wine districts, making wine and homebrew with friends who are now prominent Australian vintners.
With a Bachelor of Computing Jamie has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, working in financial services and medical billing before making his move into winery software in 2006
Whilst he is software engineer by trade Jamie is a people person and heads up our sales team. Since launching vintrace in 2006 he spends much of his time travelling the globe helping wine businesses with their production management and information needs.
Since co-founding vintrace in 2006, Zane leads our product development team.
Zane has always been passionate about software, starting programming games on the family computer when he was 12 years old, through to working as a solutions architect for a publicly listed e-health company.
Coupled with an interest in wine consumption (which started long after he turned 12), it was a no-brainer for Zane to help conceive, design and develop the software that thousands of winemakers use to solve their day to day record keeping problems.
AJ started in the wine business back in his high school days packing wine club shipments on the weekends for a fulfillment company.
Since then he has been a bulk wine broker, worked in Direct-to-Consumer sales and software, and as a harvest intern at a custom crush facility, providing a full spectrum of experience from grape to DTC when assisting customers exploring vintrace options.
